Our fearless leaders. Kyle brings his 25+ years of restaurant experience, and Erin balances us out with the sweet Southern hospitality and genuine desire to create a sense of “community” within their cafe’s walls. Coming from sunny Sarasota, Florida 16 years ago to the majestic mountains of Western North Carolina, Kyle and Erin seek to blend the “brunch-lifestyle” of the Gulf coast with traditional “mountain food” of the Southern Appalachians…the results: Blue Bike Cafe.
The Kitchen Squad
These are the guys (and gal) that make the magic happen. Dell and Josiah lead the squad to crank out the best breakfast & lunch around. “Potter” and “Aunt B” keep the kitchen moving while “Jonny-boy” is the Egg-eggtraordinaire. Elijah and “Spicy Dan Dan” make sure those pancakes are fluffy and hash browns are crispy. This team truly is special…if you ever get a chance to pop your head in the kitchen, let them know how they’re doing!
The front of House Fam
The familiar faces to the locals, and the heartbeat of hospitality to our community and guests. The wild and crazy Wayne always entertaining and keeping the waitlist moving. Olivia and Elizabeth working the phones and registers. Simon, Kat, Juan, Tara, Taylor, and Elijah are the crew that is there to make sure our awesome guests are taken care of and don’t leave hungry. And finally Brady, Maddie, and Lilly team up to make sure your food makes it from the kitchen to your table hot and delicious!
